Coaching Policies
MAKE UP LESSON POLICY
Make up lessons are NO longer offered if you cannot attend a Group, Semi Private or Squad class. This is because class still runs in your absence, we still have expenses including coach wages and we want our class sizes to remain small. The extra admin work required for group make up lessons would warrant a price increase and we would prefer to keep prices low.
There will be Private make up lessons provided if you notify by 10am day of your lesson (Saturday evening for Sunday privates)
WET WEATHER POLICY
If it is drizzle/showers and court is safe to play on, lesson continues on court, the courts have excellent drainage. However, if it is raining at the time of your lesson or courts are not safe to play on (puddles are forming), the Wet Weather Program will be implemented for all Group and Semi private lessons. Wet weather programs includes any of the following indoor/undercover activities: Coordination, Education, Fitness or Analysis using TA Technique App. Please attend all scheduled lessons as make up lessons/credits are not given in cases of inclement weather.
GROUP CLASSES: Full indoor sessions are capped at 2 maximum per term. Credit/Make Up lesson will be provided if this is exceeded.
Exceptions: There will be NO Wet Weather Program for:
Adult classes, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday night Squads- Make up/credit will be provided
PRIVATE CLASSES: Private coaches number is provided to you. You must contact coach direct to get confirmation if the class is cancelled. You will be charged as normal if you do not get a cancellation and do not attend your class.
HEAT POLICY
If temperature reaches 37 degrees or higher at your lesson time, a make up lesson will be provided. Bureau of Meterology (BOM) http://www.bom.gov.au/vic/observations/melbourne.shtml
For temperatures 30- 36 degrees, the coaches may focus predominately on serve, reduce high movement drills, focus more on skill development and take more regular water/shade breaks. Player safety is our primary concern.
PAYMENT POLICY
Invoices are emailed prior to the end of each term. Upcoming full term fees are due by the last class of current term. If someone joins mid term, fees are prorata. PAYMENT confirms your spot.
Payments are paid by term and can be made online by EFT or fees placed in sealed enveloped and given directly to coach with player name and invoice number. This secures payment and maximizes lesson time
