Friday Hot Shots Match Play at Keysborough TC
6 week season per Term
4.15pm- 5.15pm (8 kids max- Advanced Orange ball/Beginner Green)
5.15pm- 6.15pm (8 kids max- Green ball/Green ball advanced)
This is for kids enrolled in Tennis Unlimited coaching program who would like to compete on Friday afternoon in Supervised match play round robin. Age range is typically 8- 12. Kids need to be able to serve and start a rally (entry level)
The season runs for 6 weeks each term and cost is only $25 per season.
To be eligible for competitions, kids must be:
Enrolled in Tennis Unlimited Coaching program

Term 1, 2025 Hot Shots season will run 14th February- 21st March, 2025. Entries are sent with the term 1, 2025 coaching invoice. For further questions, contact Lisa.
Further notes:
4.15- 5.15pm- Advanced Orange Ball- 3/4 court area (players progress to 5.15pm Green ball time slot when they win the 4.15pm time slot or when can score/play independantly from baseline (depending on availability)
5.15pm- 6.15pm- Green Ball (preparation for Sat Junior competition- max time allowed in this time slot is 12 months/4 terms of 6 weeks)

JUNIOR COMPETITION- Saturday Morning
SUMMER 2024/2025:
12th October- 14th December 2024 & 1st Febraury- 1st March, 2025 (S/F 15th March and GF 22nd March)
WINTER 2025:
3rd May- 23rd August 2025 (S/F 30th August and GF 6th September, 2025)

Keysborough players compete in the Waverley & District Tennis Association Competitions on a Saturday morning. Play starts at 8.15am (strictly 8am arrival) The finish time varies between 10.30am- 12pm as it depends on how long sets take and how many courts venue has. The season runs for 14 weeks & finals for top 4 teams. This is a great way for kids to develop their tennis skills and form friendships with team members. It is vital there is a team commitment attitude. There is no play over school holiday periods or long weekends during a season. Once kids sign up, they are put in a team. Approximately 1 week before new season starts the rosters including team member contacts are emailed by the Junior convenor.
Criteria to Play Competition tennis at Keysborough TC.
Juniors must be current financial members of the tennis club to be eligible for competitions Junior membership $105 per year, Family memberships $280 (4 family members). To join:

New Players: $125 Including Uniform, Team Registration and Ball Money
Current Players: $25 includingTeam Registration and Ball Money

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
The KTC Club Championship is a Round Robin tournament and Social event for Keysborough Tennis Club Junior/Family Members (inc Parents/Guardians)
DATES: The Club Championships takes place last Saturday in January
TIME: 9AM till 3pm
FORMAT- Round Robin play (fast 4), Music, Fun games, Finger food provided.
Please bring a Plate to Share!

Sporting Schools is a Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and connect them with community sport. Tennis Unlimited has delivered tennis in school to hundreds of kids at the following local schools: Resurrection PS, Chandler Park PS, Lighthouse Christian College and Emerson School.
